JASON VOORHEES, THE BREATHING ESSCENCE OF EVIL HAS HAD AN IMPACT ON HORROR
MOVIES SINCE THE FIRST FRIDAY THE 13TH. (EVEN THOUGH HE WAS NOT THE KILLER
IN THE ORIGINAL FRIDAY THE 13TH, HE SCARED THE HELL OUT OF ME WHEN HE JUMPED
OUT OF THE LAKE AT THE END.)
Some will say Jason is not scary, and Scream and I Know What You Did Last
Summer is Horror, but that usually turns out to be a bunch of little pussies
who never saw the original Friday The 13th. I look at this way, what the
fuck, may I ask is scary about a dork from Party of Five dressed up in
a shitty K-Mart special Halloween mask? Nothing! If you have lived in the
woods such as I have, and you have seen the first Friday the 13ths by yourself
then you have been scared. I don't care how macho or tough you think you
are. The decayed face of Jason, his mother's decapitated head that rests
in Jason's home..... that is a true Horror film.
I'm not sure which is my Friday the 13th film, but I am sure which is my
least favorite. Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning definately has
to be the worst. The idea of an imposter Jason just sucks, and the imposter
Jason looks real cheesy. Other than that the other films kick ass.
